Till Schneider

CEO & Co-Founder

Last updated:

Till Schneider is CEO and co-founder of Memoro – and this is just the latest chapter in his impressive entrepreneurial journey. Self-employed since age 16, he combines creative vision with technical innovation, having taken a unique path from art through film to software development.

The Entrepreneur-Artist

“Expand your thinking” – this motto runs like a thread through Till’s life. What began as teenage self-employment evolved into a 14-year career as a filmmaker, artist, and ultimately tech entrepreneur. This unusual combination makes him a CEO who understands both the creative and technical sides of innovation.

Since July 2011, Till has worked independently as a filmmaker under the label “Till Jakob”. During this time, he has regularly realized art projects and film work for various foundations in Switzerland. This artistic vein still shapes his approach to product development today: “Good software is like a good film – it tells a story, touches people, and stays in memory.”

From Creativity to Code

The Evolution of a Maker

What makes Till special is his development over the past four years: Although he comes from the design, content, and marketing side, he has intensively worked his way into software development. This self-learning mentality and the courage to conquer completely new areas characterize his leadership style.

The Memoro Vision

From inlume to Memoro

Before founding Memoro, Till was managing director and co-founder of inlume (2020-2023). This experience in building a startup laid the foundation for Memoro. In July 2023, he founded Memoro together with Tobias Müller with the vision to revolutionize the way people capture their thoughts and conversations.

Low Code to High Impact

In the “programmier.bar” podcast, Till shared his insights about developing Memoro:

  • Low Code Boost: Fast prototyping and iteration in the initial phase
  • Recognizing limits: Conscious decision to switch stacks
  • Finding balance: Low Code for the start, Custom Development for scaling

“Low Code was brilliant for the quick start – but when it comes to scaling and perfect user experience, you need flexibility and control,” Till explains his technological philosophy.

Inspiration & Influences

Till follows thought leaders like Lex Fridman and Simon Sinek – a sign of his interest in the intersection of technology, philosophy, and leadership. This broad intellectual curiosity flows into his vision for Memoro.

Swiss Roots, Global Vision

Shaping the Future

“Is AI the creativity killer?” Till asks provocatively and provides the answer himself: “Average isn’t enough. Our future depends on human intuition, taste, and yes – even mistakes.”

With this philosophy, Till leads Memoro into a future where technology doesn’t replace human creativity but amplifies it. His unique journey from 16-year-old entrepreneur through filmmaker to tech CEO makes him a leader who understands that true innovation happens at the intersection of art, technology, and human experience.
